Don’t ignore the little trifles,
Or think lightly of their worth–
For the little things are precious,
And can make or break this earth.
Little tiny drops of water,
Little photons of the sun,
Give the plants the strength to grow, which
Gives us energy to run.
Little seconds make a minute,
Little minutes make an hour.
Little acorns make an oak tree,
Little raindrops make a shower.
Little moments, little comments,
Little thoughts we daily think,
Lead us on to things much bigger,
For the little thing’s the link.
Little things that link together,
All the big things to surmount;
When we view the bigger picture,
It’s the little things that count.
