Saviour Be a Welcomed Guest
 
1. May the dear Saviour be a welcomed Guest in your heart,
Abiding in your heart, manifested in your words.
The law of kindness will be upon your tongues,
And you will have peace within, then all will be peace without,
And you will make melody to God, in your hearts!  
 
2. May the dear Saviour be a welcomed Guest in your home,
Abiding in your home, and reflected on your face.
The law of His love will shine forth from your face,
And you will have faith within, then all will be joy without,
And you will make melody to God, in your hearts! 
 
3. May the dear Saviour be a welcomed Guest in your church,
Abiding in your church, Christ will be your only trust.
The gift of meekness will show to all you serve,
And you will have pow'r within, then all will be pow'r without,
And you will make melody to God, in your hearts!
