Morning Worship
 
1. I go to Jesus early ev'ry morning,
For faith and strength for ev'ry coming test;
He meets me in His word–a living fountain,
And whispers in my ear: "You can have rest". 

Refrain:
"I'll give you what you need for this day's battles.
More than you can exhaust, you'll surely get.
For Satan is a conquered foe already;
With Me he'll be victoriously met." 
 
2. This morning consecration gives me power,
The living faith I need to meet the day;
I know I'm not alone to face temptation,
For Jesus is with me along the way.

3. I long for ev'ry morning worship hour,
I love to meet an old familiar Friend;
To be together with Him is my pleasure,
This blessed unity shall never end.
