Heart Work
 
1. Before the witnessing cosmos,
Christ testified it is a better thing
To suffer any loss than to depart
In any manner from God's will. 

Refrain:
For thus God gave His Son to die for ev'ryone;
It was not drudgery, it was heart work!
We plead such willing hearts to do God's will as sons,
To instantly obey and trust.
  
2. If we consent to the Saviour,
He'll blend our hearts and minds with His own will,
That when obeying Him we shall
But carry out the impulse of our heart.
(Refrain)
 
3. Those who decide to do nothing
In any line that will displease their God,
After presenting their case unto Him,
Will know what course they must pursue.
